Bernstein analistlerinin yeni bir raporu, önümüzdeki beş yıl içinde Bitcoin madencilik çipleri ve donanımında 20 milyar dolarlık bir gelir fırsatı… Tümüyle merkeziyetsiz bir dijital kripto para birimi olarak tanımlanır. BTC'nin düşmesi, kripto topluluğunda da merak uyandırdı. Kripto varlık yatırımları veya hizmeti sunanların federal menkul kıymet yasaları da dahil geçerli bazı yasalara uymayabileceğine işaret eden Gensler, kripto varlık menkul kıymetlerine yatırım yapanların, yatırımlarıyla bağlantılı olarak önemli bilgilerden ve diğer önemli korumalardan mahrum kalabileceklerini anlaması gerektiğini ifade etti.

Söz konusu davalarda SEC Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), Polygon (Matic) ve Filecoin (FIL) gibi popüler kripto paraları menkul kıymetler olarak tanımlamış, bu sebeple kripto para borsalarını lisanssız bir şekilde aracılık yapmak ve borsa olarak faaliyet göstermekle suçlamıştı. Bu kartlar daha sonra üreticinin tavsiye ettiği perakende satış fiyatının %300 üzerinde bir fiyatla yeniden satışa sunuldu. Büyük bir kargaşa ortaya çıktı. Bu hafta ise benzer bir şekilde fon yönetim devi Fidelity'nin de benzer bir başvuruda bulunacağına dair haberler çıktı. Ethereum TSİ 8.40 itibarıyla yüzde 5 yükselerek 1.813 dolara çıktı. Fed geçtiğimiz hafta 10 toplantının ardından ilk kez faiz artırımına gitmeyerek politika faizini yüzde 5-5.25 aralığında sabit bıraktı. Spot Bitcoin ETF'sinin onaylanacağına dair spekülasyonlar geçen yıl kripto paralardaki yükselişi desteklerken, geçen hafta çıkan haberlerde de SEC'in Nasdaq, Chicago Opsiyon Borsası (CBOE) ve New York Menkul Kıymetler Borsası (NYSE) olmak üzere büyük borsalarla spot Bitcoin ETF'ler hakkında görüşmelerde bulunduğu belirtilmişti. Geçen hafta dünyanın en büyük varlık yönetim firması BlackRock spot Bitcoin ETF ürünü ihracı için SEC'e başvuruda bulundu. Kodak, 2018'de, fotoğraf telif hakkı kaydı için bir dijital belirteç sistemi başlatmayı planladığını duyurdu. Yönetmelikler New York eyaleti veya bir New York sakini içeren faaliyetlerle sınırlıdır. BitLicense, şirketler için tasarlanmış yönetmelikler uyarınca New York Eyaleti Finansal Hizmetler Departmanı (NYSDFS) tarafından sanal para faaliyetlerine ilişkin verilen bir işletme lisansı için kullanılan ortak terimdir. Bitcoin'in herhangi bir davada adının geçmemesi yatırımcının bu kripto paraya yönelimini artırdı. Kripto para borsaları SPK'dan onay almak ve SPK'nın kurallarına uymak zorunda. Trump, kripto para piyasalarına ilişkin pozitif söylemlerde bulunmuştu. Kripto analisti Michael van de Poppe, Bitcoin'in 40.000 dolara ulaşabileceğini öngörerek Ekim ayı için yükseliş beklentisinin yanı sıra ETF onayları ve yarılanma öncesi yükselişin de tetikleyebileceği sağlam bir çeyreklik beklentisi içinde. Yıllar geçtikçe, Bitcoin ağında yeni, geçerli blokların bulunması konusundaki zorluk otomatik olarak arttıkça madencilik de rekabetin her geçen gün arttığı bir sektör oldu.

Sonrasında madencilik aktivitelerindeki yarılama süreçleri ve giderek artan madencilik maliyetleri ise fiyatlara yükseltici etkide bulunacaktır. Sabit getirilerdeki gerileme eğilimi ve dolardaki yükseliş şu ana kadar kripto paralarda yükseltici bir etkiye sahip oldu. Söz konusu karar öncesinde doların ana para birimleri karşısındaki performansını gösteren dolar endeksi 103.4 seviyesinde bulunuyordu. Analistler söz konusu yükselişin çeşitli nedenleri olduğunu belirtti. ABD'de federal mahkeme, geçen yıl ağustos ayında SEC'in kripto varlık yönetimi şirketi Grayscale'in spot Bitcoin ETF başvurusunu reddetmesinin hatalı olduğunu belirtmiş, söz konusu kararı bozmuştu. Goldman'ın Varlık Yönetimi biriminin Baş Yatırım Sorumlusu Sharmin Mossavar-Rahmani, nisan ayında Wall Street Journal'a verdiği demeçte, "Bunun bir yatırım varlık sınıfı olduğunu düşünmüyoruz. Ancak, henüz özel bir yönetmelik çıkarılmadı. Önerilen düzenlemeler resmi olarak 23 Temmuz'da New York Eyalet Gazetesi'nde 45 günlük bir deneme sürecinden başlayarak yayımlandı. 25 Şubat 2015'te, 30 günlük bir deneme sürecinden başlayarak revize edilmiş bir teklif duyurusu yayımlandı. Trump yönetimi, BTC USDT daha rahat düzenlemeler yoluyla Bitcoin ve diğer dijital varlıklar için elverişli bir ortamı teşvik edebilir. 17 Temmuz 2014'te departman, New York'ta ikamet eden ve kripto para birimlerini kullanan herhangi bir şirket veya kişiye düzenlemeler getiren "BitLicense" adlı bir bildiri yayınladı. New York Eyaleti'nde ikamet eden, iş yeri olan veya iş yapan kişiler bu düzenlemeler kapsamında New York sakini olarak kabul edilmektedir. Yıllarca Çin hep böyle zamanlarda yasak koyacak oldu ama hiç öyle bir şey yapan olmadı. Dünyanın en büyük varlık yönetim şirketi Blackrock ile VanEck, WisdomTree (WT.N), Fidelity, Bitwise, Grayscale Investmens ve Invesco, spot Bitcoin ETF'si için SEC'e başvuru yapan firmalar arasında yer almıştı. Spot Bitcoin ETF'ler için talep yoğun olmasına rağmen, SEC, bu tür bir ETF ile ilişkili riskler konusunda daha temkinli yaklaşım göstermişti. Sabit oranlı enflasyonun kısa süre içinde herhangi bir uyarıcı etkiye sahip olmaktan çıkması ve sonunda bizi sadece gecikmiş adaptasyonlardan oluşan bir birikimle baş başa bırakması, standart ekonomi ders kitaplarında bile faydalı olarak gösterilen "ılımlı" enflasyona karşı kesin bir argümandır.
